In the doctors room

Children play with some letters

Not knowing the truth.

  1. This is a powerful poem.
Sometimes by knowing a specific meaning or intention of a poem it loses its powerfulness, sometimes it doesn’t.
Despite this possibility after the third reading of this poem I am curious if the lost truth of the children is about them or someone in their family. At first I thought it was about them and they just are too young to understand and comprehend what is going on. i then thought what if it is something about one of the adults or grownups? I can imagine either scenario.
Thank you for sharing your pieces.
    Regards,
    Sam.
